Just wanted to share this with you. When we went to London recently we came across this. It’s totally amazing and free. It was just outside Tottenham Court Road tube station. The display was projected on the wall somehow. Whilst watching in, zoom in and get immersed. We witnessed this standing up and it made you feel immersed in it.

For many years I have watched the gentlemen participate in St Luke’s Men’s walk around Plymouth. However, on this my 60th year I decided to bite the bullet and participate. It has been the most camaraderie experience with so many gentlemen. This is definitely something that is going on my calendar for next year. Thomas and I may go in fancy dress next year, Thomas likes Captain America but I’m more traditional with the pirate theme. There were so many participants this year. We came in number 31 and 32 out of the block of 500, however there was over 2,700 men participating. Such a worthy cause and so far we have raised £110 plus our entry fee for St Luke’s.

My son and I are participating in the St Luke’s Men’s Day Out walk this Saturday to raise money for a worthy cause. We have all known/know people that have used St Luke’s and on my 60th year I thought I would set myself a goal to support them. Nobody knows what’s around the corner. The latest kitchen upgrade Complete Works have just completed. I knew installing a large umbrella when we did the garden renovation would come in convenient especially when we were cutting the wall tiles in the rain. A big thank you to Katherine Martin from Designed Surfaces for supplying and installing another marvellous worktop for us. Another satisfied customer.

Two totally different jobs carried out recently by ourselves. The first one was making a utility room more usable with the use of Howdens kitchen units. The second one was a custom made storage facility. Personally I quite enjoyed making the storage facility unit by using red cedar wood. The smell and quality was amazing. Although it was quite expensive wood, would not hesitate to use this again.
