Soil conditions around a large Beech and Oak stump had become heavily compacted from vehicle movements. We used the VOGT maxi to break up the compaction using high pressure air, then inject Enriched Biochar into the voids, this further de-compacts but fills the voids with material that does not degrade allowing air and water to pass easily to the root ball of the tree.
Water falling on the ground now flows into the voids, as Biochar is honeycomb shaped it absorbs the water. Holding it for when the tree needs it. For more information on a site visit to see how it works, please get in touch.

This Oak was treated in the spring to decompact the soil and apply our organic enriched Bio Char.

The system works by, firstly, drilling down into the soil approximately 65cm. We it injects high pressure air this de-compacts the soil and creates voids.
We then inject enriched biochar into the voids, which further de-compacts but fills the voids with material that does not degrade, allowing air and water to pass easily to the root ball of the tree.

How Carbon Gold Enriched Biochar can tree prevent Ash die back. With our geo injector we can get this natural product directly in to the soil where its needed.
