The old brickwork pillars at this entrance had seen better days, so they were carefully dismantled and rebuilt in natural stone to blend in better with the house and surrounding wall.

Finished with solid stone caps and bespoke hand-carved plaques to give the entrance a strong, traditional look that will last for years to come.

Built using traditional methods and materials so it will weather naturally and stand the test of time.

Every stone placed by hand…
the crane just helped with the heavy caps. 💪🪨

From bare ground to finished stonework.

This project involved creating a curved natural stone wall to shape and retain a landscaped garden space, working carefully with the contours of the land and surrounding setting.

All stone was hand-selected with a focus on longevity, clean lines and a natural finish that will only improve with age.

A really satisfying build from start to finish.

Finished this renovation of these pillars in . I removed the cement pointing and repointed in lime mortar. Most of the bath stone was replaced with new stone . I also hand carved the house name back into the stone . :

This has been my little hospital job for most of the year . The design came off a wing of an old Land Rover Defender.
The reclaimed flag stone will be laid in a flag stone floor near Chepstow . ..
