Esme's Lavender

Esme's Lavender My Grand Daughter and I grow Lavender together, it's more the Earth that does it, but you know what I mean.

We enjoy smelling it, watching the bees and just growing it. So much so that we are going to start growing it on a larger scale, to sell locally.

So your daffodils and tulips are now dying, but the cardinal rule is dead head.......BUT leave the greenery behind. That absorbs sunlight etc for next years growth.
So just let it die back naturally.

Lavender is now ready to be planted in the garden (Well even more of it!) and the one thing I would say is think about where you are planting your Lavender, because you'll have to cut it back later in the year and you don't want to be leaning over a prickly plant getting scratched to death!!!
