Planning Approved - Coach House, Kair

We’re delighted to share that our bespoke garden room project outside Laurencekirk has officially received planning approval.

This is set to become the ultimate garden room and a complete lifestyle enhancement for our clients, creating a dedicated space to relax, entertain, work, and reconnect with the outdoors all year round.

Now onto the next stage as we progress this beauty towards Building Warrant approval and continue refining every detail of the design. We can’t wait to bring this one to life.

Strip out complete at our hairdressing unit in Braehead Shopping Centre, now ready for the walls to be lined and the sparkies to run in the power.
This one’s going to be a great space when we have 19 stylists working away…

Manor Place, New life for a dark and underused part of this home in Cults, Aberdeen.

A small outbuilding replaced with a bright, open plan kitchen, lounge and dining space, finished in red zinc and warm timber, reconnecting the house to the garden.

We’ve just received the latest batch of professional photos from our project in Cults, Aberdeen.

This project saw the replacement of a small outbuilding with a new open plan kitchen, lounge, and dining space, designed to better connect the home to the garden while transforming some of the darkest areas of the house into bright, usable living space.

Finished in red zinc cladding, the extension picks up beautifully on the tones of the existing red granite to the rear. A key part of the approach was reusing materials already on site, with all removed granite carefully repurposed into the base course and garden wall to minimise waste.

The addition of timber cladding brings warmth and contrast, particularly to the recessed seating area where the bi folding doors tuck neatly away, opening up the space and creating a strong visual and physical connection to the garden.

“The past few weeks have been really great as we get used to our amazing new extension. It still feels like a holiday home from a magazine tbh, but that just says something about the design and finish.”

A great example of how thoughtful design can unlock light, space, and flow within an existing home.
