Before and after shots of decking completed this week. 👌

Not installed that long ago but whoever fitted it before had sat the joists on paving slabs. The joists were sat on moisture which ultimately led the timbers to rot far before it's time!

After installing new foundations for the frame to sit on and allow the timber to aerate properly. This solid deck will see many summers to come! ☀️

Customer wanted to move his door opening, so that he could move his big TV on the wall instead of creating a dead space in the bay window. Keeping all original mouldings and pre-existing door to keep to the theme of the house.

Closed the existing aperture with studwork, with a pattress specifically for the TV bracket, which was insulated and boarded. Light switch relocated and then skimmed both sides by Davies Plastering Specialists

Really enjoyed completing this joinery project for a customer who has recently moved into a top floor flat and they were in need of practical storage.

Removed a partition wall from inside the unit which was originally a closet space accessed from the bedroom. Closed up the pre-existing aperture in the bedroom which is now being used as an office. Introduced two doors and shelving and continued the theme of the existing panelling.

Also fabricated an angled shelving unit to maximise space in the opening created by the rafters.

I primed and prepared all components ready for top coat by the customer.
