These gateposts were built for a property so close to Porchester Castle in Hampshire that they were almost within the grounds themselves. As such there were strict planning contols in place and every step of the job was attended and watched over by a specialist archaeologist to ensure any important artifacts that may have been uncovered were suitably protected.

Being a former convent in Waterlooville, Hampshire, that had been converted into residential use, this project needed a careful and sensitive approach. The owner was keen to bring a greater sense of the character of the building into their home by including a feature wall with exposed brickwork.

This property was looking run down and neglected before we covered it in classic red brick slips, vastly improving the kerb appeal. Once finished the neighbours loved it so much they got theirs done!

We were asked by the homeowner of this Portsmouth semi-detached home, to help smarten up and outbuilding in the garden at the rear of the property. He was so impressed that he asked us to ‘brick-slip’ the front of his home ….
