💚A heartfelt farewell 💚

Effective immediately, I must share the difficult news that The Garden Girls LTD is closing its doors. Right now, my daughter needs my full attention during a challenging time, and sadly, that leaves no space for the business I’ve poured my heart into. So I am sadly stepping away for now.

I want to thank my clients from the bottom of my heart, you have all been fantastic and made work much more than a job. I have loved getting to know you personally and your gardens.

Thank you to all the amazing staff that have worked for us over the years, you guys kept the whole thing running when our family needed it. We’ve loved working with you all.

Hopefully one day, when life is more settled, I will be able to return to a job that I love - gardening 😍👩‍🌾 🌿🍁🍃🪏🍂💚🌱🏡

I will reach out soon to finalise any outstanding communications that I may have overlooked, and I apologise for any lapses in correspondence whilst this tricky decision has been made.

A note from Katherine:
As some of my long standing regular clients may have gotten to know, my daughter, Lucy, suffers with Rett syndrome. For those that don’t, Rett syndrome is a neurological condition that has left Lucy unable to walk, talk, eat, use her hands and has stripped her of so much more. There is hope and a cure on the horizon for Lucy, via Reverse Rett. Reverse Rett are important to me as we move closer to a cure for the condition.

🌳 ROOT REMOVALS! 🌳

The photos don’t show how many tree and shrub roots were with within the beds when we arrived! We removed them all, and turned over the soil ready for fresh planting. We planted the clients Acer in the newly turned over bed which will look lovely once settled 🍁

We thoroughly enjoyed working on the front garden of this beautiful property. We are looking forward to returning next week to start on the back!
