COMPETITION: ARTISTS WANTED
Bohemian Exhibition 3rd-12th June 2016
A new art organisation named 'Bohemian' are looking for new and emerging artists to come together and showcase their artwork. Bohemian are holding a competition in association with The Kings Theatre and the prizes are as follows:
• A 4 week Artists residency worth £800 with The Kings Theatre (Portsmouth)
• 5+ spots available in t
he upcoming exhibition which will take place at Number 28 Albert Road exhibition space from 3 to 12 June 2016
• up to 20 artists will be featured in the catalogue for the exhibition
The competition will be judged by a four member jury. We are looking for beautiful work that is both emotive and tells a story. Deadline for submissions: 17th May 2016

ARTISTS RESIDENCE DETAILS/BRIEF:
In this residency the chosen artists will be asked to reflect and respond to the history, restored Edwardian architecture and cultural impact of the Kings Theatre building. The residency will take place at the highest floor of the building in a room inaccessible to the public. Albert Road, Southsea, Portsmouth PO5 2QJ
*The 4 weeks residency period is negotiable to fit the artists' needs once the winners are chosen.
