🖤 Bank Holiday Built Not Bought 🖤

We bought a planter for this area but it really didn’t look the part on this modern decking area I’ve built. It was too small, not quite the right colour…..so I built one 🙌

I used the left over decking boards, the same colour stain as the deck and visited our local garden centres for plants that fit our vibe 🖤

We think it turned out well and the cost for the planter was zero, win win 🪴

🖤 Decking Refresh - Clean, Repair & Stain 🖤

This client had a large decking area and shed already established that just need a refresh.

Firstly we pressure washed the entire deck and replaced a number of rotten boards and joists. Lastly we gave the deck and shed a stain with their deck oil.

Made such a difference to the area and now ready for Summer ☀️

🖤☀️ Weekends, Sunshine and Decks ☀️🖤

When I came home from work on Saturday lunchtime, the boss (aka my wife) decided a second deck in our back yard renovation was needed. I’ve already built one for a dining area on the other side but we apparently needed one in front of the garage for a cosy seating area too ….also it was needed that afternoon 😳

So off to Savoy I went and managed to build this seating deck from scratch in under 3 hours!! My quickest deck to date!! 🙌

We then finished painting the garage white, stained the deck black and repainted the fences 🖤

Now we are ready to fill this space with sofa seating, fire pits and lights to create a modern yet cosy vibe for summer evenings ☀️

If you are in need of a deck please get in touch. I can’t promise I can do it under 3 hours but I’m pretty quick and experienced at building these now 😂

🖤 Small Garden Hacks 🖤

I’ve recently installed this compact washing line by Brabantia and can highly recommended so thought we would share.

If you have limited space in your garden or like us who really didn’t want a large line on show all the time this is perfect 🖤

Attaches to your wall, comes with a nice cover when not in use and has a large range when open.

We currently have our bedding hung on it along with other various items so it fits plenty of washing on.

Once used, you just push back into the wall and pop the cover on. So easy to use.

We got ours on sale at Dunelm Mill 👍

Over helping the lovely Andrea out at their salon getting ready for their reopening tomorrow after a refurbishment.

New mirrors hung on all the stations, gown holders installed and neon lights put up 🖤

🖤 Hallway Make Over Black & White Style 🖤

This amazing client asked if we could help to give her hall way and landing a makeover. We accepted the challenge!

Firstly we stripped the wall paper from the feature walls, then we gave the walls and the woodwork a fresh coat of paint.

We then finished the look by hanging a modern looking wall paper to update the look of the feature walls and then changed the woodwork on the stairs from white to black.

I think the end results look incredible….

This clients garden was getting a little overwhelming for her and needed a good tidy up.

They went for the Pick & Mix offer for £65 and we managed to clear three different sections of patio around their house in a few hours.

They have booked in a further Pick & Mix offer to Jetwash the areas we cleared all the overgrowth from and clear up the remaining garden to enable them to get outside in the sunshine.

Clearing overgrowth, especially between flags is hard work, if you would like a hand tidying your garden for Summer please get in touch 🖤

🖤 Complete Garden Revamp 🖤

Yes there is a garden underneath all those shrubs and bushes!!

We didn’t realise how much space was actually at the front of the house until we cleared the entire area. This was hard graft and we filled a skip full before levelling out the soil underneath.

Next we laid turf down and created a boarder filled with plants and flowers. We removed the very odd spikey top layer on the front wall and added coping stones.

We then fixed a wooden trellis on the cement panelled wall bordering the two gardens to soften the look. Solar lights were added to the trellis and in the flower boarder.

And boom, we had a front garden we never knew we had!!
