A multi stemmed silver birch has been used to provide cover of a new building behind then a mix of herbaceous and grasses have been used to get a more natural feel with espalier fruit trees on trellis behind the border, all combining to make a nice addition to this garden.

This border we planted beginning of the year is maturing nicely considering the up and downs of the weather this year, the planting gives intrest through out the year, the espalier hornbeam , Portuguese laural hedging, and the hand made hurdles all provide all year round structure . The grasses are coming into there own now as autumn takes hold and colour is added in spring with tulips and allium globemaster which all fill the borders for the colour you want through spring and early summer.
