WE’RE HIRING • This is an exciting opportunity for a trainee to develop a career across both our Sales and Planting Design Teams.

You will work with our busy Sales Team welcoming customers and providing expert plant advice, while also supporting our Planting Design Team with customer consultations, proposal creation, and design development. This role offers genuine exposure to both disciplines, allowing you to develop skills and discover where your passion lies within our business.

You will learn from experienced sales consultants and designers, gaining hands-on experience in customer service, plant knowledge, design consultation, and proposal creation. We design on the ground with customers, using our beautiful 32-acre nursery to bring ideas to life. This is a trainee position perfect for someone enthusiastic about plants and keen to develop their career in horticulture.

If you’re a plant-obsessed, enthusiastic individual who wants to develop a career in both Sales and Design, build strong customer relationships, and discover your path in horticulture, we’d love to hear from you.

Many thanks to for shining a light on our success at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026. We’re incredibly proud of our first Gold Medal.

This year, we celebrated our concept of fusion planting. The combination of plants from many different continents and climates to create gardens that feel atmospheric, immersive and personal, while still being appropriate for British conditions.

We design gardens that suit our customers tastes, horticultural risk profile and local environment – each of these three elements are critical to building and maintaining a successful garden.

The Creative Maintenance and shaping of plants with skilful clipping and training techniques gives customers a unique set of choices to personalise their garden space. We demonstrated this across the week. By transforming a plants shape with skilled clipping and creative maintenance we elevate the ordinary into the extraordinary. Equally by careful placement, plants can contrast with each other to bring out exceptional qualities that might otherwise remain muted.

Chichester Cathedral is an important part of the local community, and the Flower Festival is a wonderful celebration that brings people together through floristry, flowers and creativity, while also raising vital funds for the Cathedral.
