🚨 WE’RE HIRING – OPERATIONS MANAGER 🚨

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an Operations Manager to join the team at Decibel Fire & Security in Gloucester.

This role is ideal for someone with experience managing field-based engineering teams, scheduling engineers, planning workloads, and coordinating resources across service contracts and installation projects.

The role will involve:

✅ Planning and scheduling engineer workloads

✅ Managing resources across maintenance contracts and installation projects

✅ Coordinating service, reactive and installation works

✅ Supporting engineers and helping keep projects on track

✅ Working closely with customers and the management team

✅ Driving efficiency and maintaining high levels of customer service

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, a strong communicator, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment.

Here is our very own Stephen, hard at work as he takes part in the WorldSkills UK national qualifiers, at the Security Show.

He had to install a fire alarm, intruder alarm and access control system in a timed event under the eyes of the judges.

Huge congratulations to Stephen Darlow-Joy who is now a fully qualified engineer at Decibel Fire and Security passing his course with distinction!

Stephen joined as an apprentice on work experience over three years ago and what a journey since.

He has now successfully completed his Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security
systems technician course at Gloucestershire & Stroud College.
