Tele2 advise they've all the responsible teams involved in investigating root causes and working on solutions and that they will update us again as soon as root cause is investigating.

The incident is impacting both data and voice services.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your cooperation. "

This may show on your panel as a coms fail and will correct itself once they have solved the issue.
Your system can still be set as you would normally, just press "YES" when it asks you if you would like to set with active faults.

CSL Planned Maintenance Notification
Please be aware that CSL have issued a planned Maintenance reminder for works taking place on 23rd October 2024.

This essential work will affect Pyronix CSL Connected Enforcer and Euro control panel communications.


Below is the notice from CSL:
Maintenance Reminder
As part of our ongoing investment in platform resilience and latest technology solutions, we will be carrying out some critical system upgrades on Wednesday 23rd October.

These changes specifically relate to CSL Connected - Pyronix.

This work will be carried out in 2 stages, from 10am until 12pm and from 2pm until 4pm. During these times, there will be intermittent drops in connectivity. Although this work is very unlikely to result in poll fails being delivered to the ARC, dependant on local line fault duration settings, end users may see or hear a local indication of communication failures.

We would strongly recommend that you share this with your end users that are using the CSL Connected service so that they are aware that they may be notified with either audible or visual warnings at the control panel during these maintenance windows.

Whilst we understand that maintenance work that could result in end user phone calls isn't great, the importance of the work being undertaken and the enhanced resilience it will provide mean that this maintenance is unavoidable.

Customers should see limited disruption, however, during the maintenance window, there will be a short interruption to the monitoring of systems. The maintenance work will also affect commissioning of new systems during the specified times. Please try avoid these times for commissioning new sites.

Description of issue
We are aware of issues when attempting to connect to control panels via our apps.

How this impacts customers
Some users are not able to connect when logging in to a control panel through HomeControl2.0. We are also seeing InSite connections affected with some sites.
Normal operation of the alarm system is unaffected.

What we are doing
As soon as our team were aware, they began investigating the root cause. This is currently ongoing, and we will look to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We will keep you updated periodically via email.

We would like to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience whilst we worked urgently to resolve this.

Don't forget that under amendments made to the Fire Safety Order the new Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 that came into force on 23rd January 2023, brought with them new enhanced duties and obligations for responsible persons under article 24 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005

Pyronix Mobile phone App new “critical alerts” feature

2 days ago Pyronix added this feature which pushes the notifications through if your phone is on a locked screen (which lets be honest most people’s are!) on silent or night time do not disturb modes.
We were under the impression it was only if the alarm was triggered it would send a critical alarm notification, however this is not the case and even setting and up setting the alarm causes a critical notification.
If you have inadvertently accepted critical notifications and don’t want it on, go into the settings on your phone, notifications then HomeControl2.0, and turn off critical alerts.

If you have an Existing wire free Pyronix system you may like to add the new Car Defender!

It’s a wire free vehicle security motion sensor for your vehicles or bikes.

You can add this to the system to protect your vehicles from theft attempt.

The device will signal to the alarm and raise the siren and send a notification direct your HomeControl 2.0 app so you can take action.

We had a bit of a suprise today when replacing an external bell box!!
