Recently got involved in a house that had been bought to be done as a rental. Wanted all
Ceilings skimming and some walls plastered and prepped to be painted.

So this customer messaged us due to the plaster falling off when I went to look at the job he informed me that the roof had been leaking so I suggested that a DPM system may be a good thing to invest in. DPM system reduces Vapours and reduces damp.

Day 1 I knocked off all the remainder of the plaster and sorted any electrics prior to the system and plaster being applied and applied the system. Day 2 was finished with boarding up then dabbed & skimmed. Hoovered and tidy up rubbish. Customer discarded the rubbish.

Customers picture of a previous damp proof area that was done by HC Plastering, customer painted but sent the image due to this being 4 months later and having seen no more damp in this area.

Available for emulsioning and glossing. All done by HC Plastering this can be done after freshly skimmed plaster once the area is dry.

This was a damp issue that I was contacted for, I hacked off all the perimeter that was damp, applied the damp-proof membrane system brick joints had been injected with DPC, plastic sheeting was drilled and plugged dot and dabbed, scrimmed pva and skimmed.

On the first two photos new reveals we’re dabbed due to a new door being fitted and new size door it was them beaded and skimmed all done by HC Plastering.

The last picture included boiler removal (not done by myself) HC Plastering bonded and skimmed where the lip of the boiler was and then feathered into the wall.
