🚧 Footway improvement works in Charlotte Street and Queen Square Place are well underway 🚧

Our team have been carrying out repairs to uneven and worn footpaths that have developed over time due to general wear and vehicle overrun.

The work will help create a smoother and safer surface for pedestrians and those using pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility aids.

☀️ A rare bit of sunshine for the lads yesterday — and they definitely made the most of it! After all the wet and rain we’ve been having, it was good to finally get a few dry hours on site.

Harry’s gang are currently working along Wellsway on the way into Bath (yes… we know we’re causing chaos with the traffic 😅 — thanks for bearing with us!). We appreciate everyone’s patience while we get the job done safely and efficiently.

Looking forward to sharing more updates as the works progress — watch this space 👀

🚴‍♂️PEDAL FOR A PURPOSE!🚴‍♀️

This Friday, June 20th, Kilburn Contractors is proud to join the VolkerHighways BaNES team for their 12-hour Charity Virtual Cycle Ride. Pedaling in support of Cancer Research UK, honoring those we've lost, those currently fighting, and the inspiring survivors of cancer.

We'll have four exercise bikes running continuously, with each rider aiming to hit over 10 miles an hour! Our goal is to keep those pedals spinning for around 12 hours straight to reach our target distance.

We'd be thrilled to have your support, whether you're cheering us on or contributing with a donation.

We’re proud to have recently completed works for Volker Highways on behalf of Bath and North East Somerset Council, delivering vital pedestrian safety improvements in Bathampton.

Our work included the construction of a new raised footway across the historic canal bridge, enhancing accessibility and safety for all bridge users.
