Peacehaven Allotment Kent So, 2 years ago I put my name down on the council list for an allotment. It was the height of covid and working for the NHS I needed an escape place.

So, now I’ve been offered a little mini forest to take on. Stupidly I’ve agreed to take it

Can’t get over how different it looks now! The front is completely finished now and I have started on the middle part of the plot. Made a brand new strawberry patch going to have a wild flower section with a bird table.

Anyone else having issues with slugs? I’ve planted out my Brussels, cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower and it’s all gone 🤬 I’ve tried loads of different things but nothing seems to work! All that had work and they eat it all! I’m Im now trying beer. It’s meant to attract the slugs, let’s see

😱😱 the front of the allotment is finally finished, Love it so much. Planted some of the seedlings out as well. It’s so peaceful down there and I love spending time down there now.

Now to start planning what to do with the back of the allotment.
