The main question I am being asked at the moment is

“It it too late in the season to lay turf”

The answer to that is ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

We cut and supply turf all year round, and in fact the colder weather is a lot kinder to newly laid turf that the sun!

We have had a few people today say that there is a hosepipe ban here.

Currently, there is no ban in place. However, new turf does need a lot of water.

After the initial first three days, when you should soak your new turf for a long period of time, it’s best, and more efficient to water first thing in the morning, and last thing at night. You may need to water in between on very hot or windy days,

Even during a hosepipe ban, you are still able to water new turf for 28 days,
