We’re heading out this morning to assist utilities with clearing trees from the roads and any power lines as a priority, so private callouts may be delayed for the time being. We appreciate your patience and hope everyone stays safe.

During the red weather warning tomorrow, Government has asked people to please stay at home, and stay safe, and to only travel if it is absolutely necessary.

If you do need to travel but find that the road is blocked, please use the following contacts:

Downed trees which are causing travel disruption should be reported to the DOI on 672000.

The Public are reminded not to approach any downed power lines, and should report any issues to Manx Utilities on 687687.

We’re looking for someone to become an integral part of an enthusiastic team with the willingness to learn and develop new skills. We’re looking for someone with an interest in the working outside and that is able to get on well with the team.
Preferred skills:
Be highly motivated
Hold a full clean driving licence
Be willing to work as part of a team
Take pride within yours and others work
Our ideal candidate:
Is 18+ (for insurance purposes)
Is conscientious and well-presented
Has a strong initiative
Is punctual and good at timekeeping
Is a team player
Is physically fit
Has transport to drive themselves to/from the yard in the North of the Island
Is comfortable with heights
Has previous experience within the gardening industry, although not essential
Day-to-day operations:
The role is a full-time permanent position with 20 days paid holiday, plus bank holidays.
Regular hours are 07.30 - 16.00, Monday to Friday.
Salary £23,000– £30,000 per year, subject to experience.
A full, clean driving license is essential for day-to-day operations

Salary £26,000 – £35,000 per year, subject to experience.
