☔ Will rain affect my window clean?
This is one of the questions we’re asked most often.
The simple answer is no.
At Purple Parrot Window Cleaning, we use a professional pure water cleaning system. The water is purified to remove minerals, salts and impurities before being used on your windows. Because there is nothing left in the water to dry onto the glass, your windows dry clear and streak-free.
Rainwater itself is actually relatively pure. What makes windows look dirty isn’t the rain — it’s the dirt, dust, pollen and traffic film already sitting on the glass. If your windows have been properly cleaned using pure water, rain will generally run off without leaving marks behind.
In fact, if rain immediately ruined clean windows, nobody in Britain would ever have clean windows for more than a few hours!
So if we’ve recently cleaned your windows and the weather turns, please don’t worry. Your windows will continue to dry clean and clear.
As always, if you’re ever unhappy with the result, simply let us know and we’ll be happy to help.
