Another one ticked off, little colab with dos santos flooring this time.

Customer came to us wanting floating engineered oak over existing parquet flooring, We advised the parquet had to come up before we could lay the engineered.

Procedure of work

- Confirm no asbestos present in the bitumen adhesive under parquet ☠️

- Lift old parquet 💪

- Build up latex to match existing subfloors and reduce ramp at patio doors 🌊

- Apply dpm 🚱

- Lay the floor 🪚

- Install skirtings add our signiture transitions and install trims to finish off ✍️

This has been an emotional one, first attended site in August 23’, and after months of battling for investigations into the cause of damp and then battling again for the correct resolution we finally got it done.

Apply primer ☑️🪣

Self levelling compound in kitchen to level 30mm discrepancy as well as raise 10mm to match floor level in rest of property ☑️🌊

Self level entire ground floor ☑️

Feather finish across entire floor, because OCD gets us paid ☑️💷

Install herringbone LVT ☑️🎇

Install skirtings, with some flair around the radiator pipes ☑️🪚
