We’ve had a really busy start to the year and kicked things off with some fantastic room makeovers. These photos show just a couple of recent projects we’ve completed.

One was a kitchen where the subfloor was in very poor condition, so we first had to fully prepare and level it before installing the new vinyl flooring – all while working within the client’s budget. The other is a through lounge finished with a stunning herringbone LVT design, which has completely transformed the space.

We’ve also got some really interesting jobs booked in over the next six weeks and can’t wait to share more as they’re completed. Thanks to all our customers for keeping us busy – it’s much appreciated!

Wow — what a year!
Celebrating our 80th year as a family run business has been something truly special, with so many fantastic projects completed for our clients.

It’s been a pleasure meeting new customers and returning to homes we’ve worked in over the past decades, refurbishing and refreshing properties across North Yorkshire.

Thank you from all of us for your continued support — it really does mean the world.

We’d like to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎄✨

Phone Line Update – Still Ongoing…🤬

As many of you already know (and thanks for bearing with us!), we’ve had ongoing issues with British Telecom 🤣– and yes, it’s still not sorted. BT still don’t know who holds our number (no, seriously), and despite endless chasing, they aren’t willing to provide any information. Their go-to answer is: “You’ll get an update in 24 hours”… which, as it turns out, often means a week later – if at all.

Our last “24-hour response” was promised on Thursday 17th, which, after accounting for bank holidays and their mysterious ‘processing days’, now apparently means Wednesday 23rd. You couldn’t make it up!

We’ve had enough, and we’re in the process of switching to a new provider who’s doing their best to sort this out. Fingers crossed it’ll be resolved within the next two weeks.

We truly appreciate your patience and support – it means a lot while we battle through this madness.

Phone Line Drama Update

It’s now been 12 long days since we started our epic battle with British Telecom over our new phone line. Despite numerous calls, promises, and being told “it’ll be fixed within 24 hours” (on repeat, like a broken record), we’re still without a working line.

At this point, we think we might have a better chance training a carrier pigeon.

So, we’ve decided enough is enough – we’re switching providers and (fingers crossed!) everything should be sorted within the next 7 days.
