Come and play with clay in this relaxed pottery workshop with the brilliant .ridley.ceramics at Make & Mend Festival on Sunday 28th June 😍

❤️ During this workshop you’ll be able to pick from a selection of pottery makes from candle sticks to trinket boxes, spoons to pottery envelopes, or bring along your own ideas.Then pick from a variety of underglazes to decorate your piece.

❤️ Your piece will then be taken away to be fired and become a functional piece of art.

❤️ Collection of work can either be made at Rebecca Ridley Ceramics Studio at Kirkharle (Northumberland), or it will be posted out to you.

🎟️ Don’t miss out - Rebecca’s other workshop is fully booked, so if you fancy giving this a go we would recommend booking sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. Tickets and more info in the usual place!

Have you ever wanted to try screen printing? We’ve got a fantastic workshop with Hannah Gawne at Make & Mend Festival on Sunday 28th June, so come and give it a try!

You’ll explore the techniques of screen printing and print a patterned design onto fabric to get to grips with the process.

You will then be able to develop your own design to print onto a choice of either a tote bag or tea towel. You’ll leave the session with two freshly printed items unique to you!

We’re delighted to have two workshops with Jess Grady () at Make & Mend Festival this year! The only thing you have to decide is which amazing workshop to choose 😍

🌸 In Embellish Beautiful Blooms, you’ll create your own hand stitched floral bloom using zero waste mixed media embellishments. Jess will show you her techniques to create pleated petals, 3R tasselled stamens, and twisted vines to build your own unique artwork.

🧵 In Doodle Stitched Wild Garden, Jess will show you her favourite stitches to create textured floral, fauna, fruit and vegetables in your unique stitched garden. You will use thread and embellishments to add details, patterns and colour to your design!

Make & Mend Festival is all about trying something new, so we’re really excited to have this fabulous needle felt landscapes workshop with this year!

❤️ Learn the fundamentals os 2D needle felting in this hands-on workshop. You’ll explore colour blending, layering and ‘painting’ techniques using premium Merino wool.

❤️ By the end of the session, you’ll have mastered the basics of this therapeutic craft and created a unique landscape to display in an embroidery hoop. All materials are included and beginners are warmly welcomed ☺️
