WB Simpson & Sons are proud to have been shortlisted for a 2026 TTA Award (Best Commercial Project – over 500m²) for 40 Broadway, London.

40 Broadway is a premium Grade A office building at the heart of Westminster, right next to St James’s Park. It offers around 125,000 sq ft of office space from the basement to the eighth floor and the development also features a ground-floor café.

On 12th April 2026, Martina and Tomas will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause.

Tommy’s, the pregnancy and baby charity, is at the forefront of stopping the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss. Their mission is to ensure that pregnancy and birth are safe for everyone, providing support to families during their most vulnerable times.

W.B. Simpson & Sons will be closed for the Christmas holidays from Thursday 18th December and will reopen on Monday 5th January.

St Pancras Campus is a mixed-use development nestled between King’s Cross and Camden Town. It consists of three separate buildings, which include offices, retail spaces, and residential apartments, with a public park set in between.

W.B. Simpson & Sons supplied and installed a range of products including pre-cast terrazzo, porcelain/ceramic tiles, handmade tiles and carved wash troughs.

The highlights of the project include the feature basketweave-patterned flooring, made up of three different colours of pre-cast terrazzo, along with the solid carved terrazzo wash troughs. The handmade tiles on the reception walls also provide a striking addition to the space.

Other elements of works included apartments finished with a mix of terrazzo and ceramic materials. WBS also supplied and installed a full waterproofing package to the residential bathrooms using Schluter Systems, as approved installers of their projects.

W.B. Simpson & Sons has a proud legacy of tiling London underground stations, a tradition that dates back to the late 19th century. Our craftsmanship can still be seen across the city today.

Recently, we had the privilege of a private visit to the London Transport Museum Depot , where we viewed preserved examples of our historic work that date back over 100 years. Among the highlights were the intricate acanthus leaf dado tiles from the Charing Cross ticket office (1907) and a section of wall from Knightsbridge station (1906).

Our Site Manager, Luke, received a gift card for his good work continually maintaining a high standard of health & safety across the whole team.

As part of the recent Mental Health Awareness Week, our Project Managers, Rakesh and Luke, participated in a Peloton cycling competition hosted by at the 40 Broadway site, promoting positive wellbeing.
