Good morning all!! Have been a little absent lately due to lots of work which I’m grateful for. It’s not often I need to do complete soil pipe replacement but this year I’ve now done 3 of them !!

We started in St day where a client wanted to convert part of their rear porch into a second WC for the household. We then returned to Praze to a regular customer whom I thought had a cast iron pipe but it was the dreaded asbestos 😩 has been removed sensitivity and disposed of at St. Earth in their asbestos bin.

Then finally just down the road heading to Helston it was another repeat custom to fit anthracite grey soil stack to match the Facias n guttering we did before Christmas.

Also have done a full bathroom refit in Redruth so update with pictures of that one soon.

A recent porch refurbishment for an existing customer who wanted a more inviting space that wasn’t like a greenhouse to come into. Being timber frame it allowed for full insulation so it won’t be a pizza oven in the summer nor a freezer in the winter . The customer is delighted with the end result and we’re pleased with the outcome for them.

A recent external garage side entry door. This customers garage also works as a utility room. The house has Rosewood upvc windows and doors and we wanted the timber ledge n brace door to match. Brand new hard wood frame meets soft wood door, finished with two coats of Rosewood stain and two coats of yacht varnish. Brand new door furniture too!! Rendered in the blown areas around the frame and sealed in with Rosewood silicone sealant.

A great compromise instead of the preferred upvc option. Many thanks for the brews and mince pies too!

Finally finished for 2025!! ( haven’t got everything done ) I wanted to wish all my customers past,present and the followers a happy and healthy Christmas time.
It’s been a productive year with lots of jobs completed it’s been a broad spectrum of things and I’m truly grateful for the work I’ve been given .

Finally a completed bathroom project !! We’ve had a few bits on the go at the same time due to waiting on materials.

We originally only planned to replace the bath with a shower enclosure but once we’d ripped out and discovered the toilet had been leaking for a considerable time the hole floor had to be replaced.

We’ve moved the shower enclosure away from the ground floor window and have relocated the toilet and basin too.

When you step out of the shower you’re now faced with the dual fuel heated towel rail so a warm towel is ready for you to grab.

The customer wished to extend the panelling to include the entire room, initially it was only the wet areas.

We’ve moved the hot water tank pump so it’s now in the airing cupboard for any future maintenance and it gives mains pressure to the new mixer shower 🚿.

I was very curious to see how this concluded because this was a customers panel choice from a seller I’ve not used before.

Our most recent bathroom completed ✔️ we’ve currently got two other bathroom projects on the go and have done some varied works over the course of the summer. Replacing two rotten garage roofs amongst some other things.

This bathroom was very local for a lovely family who was very hospitable and I really enjoyed hearing about the boys school days.

The client led the design brief and I absolutely love the smaller tiles in this beautiful period home in Redruth. His and Hers basins have been installed along with illuminated mirrors 🪞. The custom unit includes a pullout draw for laundry and also has the concealed shower plumbing within it.

Free standing bath sits on new LVT flooring with a floor mounted bath filler tap in brushed brass.

The customer request a niche for her bottles so we’ve happily installed one. I never thought I’d say but I absolutely love the salmon pink paint and would definitely recommend it to future customers.

We’ve been flat out so far this year and I was delighted to return back to station hill to do our 6 property in the row of 18!! This beautiful double fronted home needed some TLC to be applied to the bay windows.

They’ve been stripped back with a heat gun and new timber and mouldings have been installed.

Used polyurethane glue to secure along with the nail gun. 2 coats of zinnser primer and solvent based zinnser allcoat to finish.

The customer went for Rosewood capping board with new guttering and down pipes. Replaced the pvc window mouldings to freshen it all up.

A recent kitchen remodel for a lady in Camborne, complete rip out wall paper stripped and skimmed throughout. This is the first Howdens flat pack kitchen I’ve fitted and it’s up to there usual standards for quality. The customer has picked everything and has stuck with a similar palette throughout.

New sockets fitted and I noticed the window handles were a little flimsy so I’ve changed those too.

A recent exterior full redecorate includes a colour change for this customer. It’s now dulux Sandstone with pure brilliant white window surrounds.

On this property we’ve removed all down pipes and house wall plaque prior to painting. Two full coats have been applied to give solid coverage.

A new outside light with PIR has been fitted at the rear to match the front door light.

Good morning and a happy Easter to you all. A recent fence installation. The entire boundary wall at the rear of this property has now been featheredge fenced. We’ve used some previously installed concrete posts and where timber posts have been used we’ve sleeved them with post savers to help give them longevity.

New side gate fitted to match and can only be unlocked from the inside gives greater security, especially as at the rear of the property is an access road to a new housing estate.

This was wasn’t without its challenges mainly the catastrophic weather and needing to move the shed so we could fence all the way around the garden.

Part of this weeks workload was to clean ( soft wash ), de w**d and repointing this large patio. It’s now summer ready and safe for their 2 year old Grandson.

I love the sika jointing compound it’s a fantastic product that’s flexible and definitely an upgrade on the old sand n cement mix.
