Just want to put out a reminder that we offer emergency repairs to clear access, get things safe and watertight, clear fallen branches and trees, sort out damaged plumbing, and patch up broken windows, replace glass, shore up failing fences.

When things are safer we can replace damaged tiles, rebuild walls, erect new fences and generally get things back to how they should be.

Looking for someone with some carpentry skills, maybe newly qualified or looking to put into practice wood skills and progress with property work.

My business involves all manner of property work, carpentry and fencing. I have specific need of someone with timber skills, and a confidence with power tools. Not afraid of heights.

I can teach advanced techniques etc, and have tools, but you must already have some confidence and ability to make timber or other creations by yourself or experience. In essence you must already by hands-on and capable.

Looking to team up for projects with other people employed in the property maintenance, building and handyman sector.

It’s hardwork working alone, pricing, invoicing and all responsibilities organising, leave you with either no free time or no time to do the actual work itself and get stuck in like you want to.

As a result I’ve been turning down fairly profitable works, just because it’s too much for one person to manage, even if I could get staff onboard, even if you got competent workers, you still need to actually do a certain amount yourself, or spend hours explaining it.

I’ve got plenty of equipment for almost any job... but no real capital currently. My better skills are in understanding how to get the work done and how everything fits together, working efficiently, problem solving, teaching skills, and finding and measuring up and viewing jobs.

Looking for someone especially competent in invoicing, bookwork, organising equipment, trade skills, maintaining it all and collecting materials and general organisation skills. As well as of course skills in the work itself as well.

We could start by working on each other’s jobs together, continue that way going forward, or maybe pair up long term.

Handyperson, property maintenance worker or multiskill wanted. Someone who wants to be involved in or learn about various aspects of property work in if required.

Must obviously be fit and able, and not afraid of heights and the outdoors. A “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn is essential, as is a means to get about.

I can teach most skills, but you must already be handy and interested in progression.

My work covers all aspects of building work and working on properties, including some garden and landscape work too. I require someone for a few months, but work could be ongoing depending.

Looking for a practical person for a week work in helping with painting prep, to start next week.

Can be flexible around days, maybe even two days per week could work for a couple of weeks.

Job involves Sanding, cleaning and to apply some first coat paints in some newly renovated flats without furnishings. As well as washing and cleaning tools. I’m not looking for perfected skill here just some initiative and common sense and a generally handy person.
Must start for at least a day or two next week.

It is Amazing what a lick of paint and some cleaning and a little gardening and landscaping can do for a property when you are trying to sell it.

Before I arrived the property was looking dilapidated and decaying. Not true of course but many potential buyers just can’t see past the flakey paint and weeds. Now it looks a lot fresher and a smart purchase.

Will now get some easy salad crops growing in the existing beds to inspire some new buyers and make the house look like a fertile purchase.

I’ve always loved period-home features such as ceiling coving. There is no denying it can be a useful way to conceal persistent cracks that keep returning due to natural movement of some ceilings...
But coving is so much more than a period feature, and when professionally installed and decorated, really does have a place even in modern apartments, creating beautiful lines and giving a sculpted, finished look that doesn’t crowd a room with detail.

Cracks can appear for a number of reasons; particularly around doors, windows and around ceiling edges.....But don’t worry, your clean-cut lines and smart decor hasn’t seen it’s day just yet. With some careful multi stage filling with decent non-shrinking products, expert sanding and touch up paint you wouldn’t know it was ever there.

Completely Overhauled cracked old room.

1: Took out the battered skirting board, door architraves and picture rails.
2: Installed fresh plasterboard to reinforce the walls strength, improve soundproofing and elimate cracking.
3: Applied a fresh coat of plaster, recessed the old boxy switches and sockets and installed fancy new trims and and picture rail to really set set the room off.

Now ready for the owner to lovingly decorate and enjoy.
