What a start of the week!
Two Planning Applications finally granted (something about backlogs in various Planning Departments... patience....)

The first one to come yesterday: replacement of an existing conservatory with layout modifications and first floor small extensions over the new flat roof for a detached cottage on Green Belt in Leigh.

Today's: a much needed side and back two story extensions for a semi-detached cottage in Epsom. This little two-up two-down was already feeling too cosy for our clients! The challenge: Conservation area and Positive Building designation.

CORONAVIRUS POLICY
Coronavirus and its impact on our working practices.

What we are doing:
• DAa continue to practice and are actively taking on new appointments. This includes home and site visits where required.
• We are committed to following the Government guidance as a minimum.

In order to adhere to best practice:
• We will not be shaking hands.
• We will be washing/sanitising our hands before and after visits.
• We will maintain a 2m distance from clients wherever possible.
• If indoors, or when maintaining a 2m distance is not possible, we will wear a face mask.
• We may ask clients to reschedule their appointment if we have reasonable cause to believe a person in the property is unwell.
• We cannot attend your property until the self-isolation period has ended.

How you can help
• At time of confirming a visit, you must please advise us if anyone in your household has any symptoms of the coronavirus, or if you have knowingly been in contact with anyone with symptoms of the virus within the last 2 weeks.
• Please help us by maintaining a 2m distance. Please do not be offended if we ask you to step back.
• Where possible, please prop doors open and close doors after us. This will help us to reduce contact points.
• If you become unwell after scheduling our appointment, please call to reschedule to at least 2 weeks later.

Like everybody, we've been busy juggling life these last months.

And although we have continued working, we have been lucky all our projects have been at the drawing stage.

Now the current situation makes it necessary to put in place some rules of engagement for the safety of both Clients and ourselves. These rules will be posted and pinned to the top later.
