Tired of the overgrown jungle, consuming a large area at the bottom of her garden, my customer had one simple request.

"Can you please create a usable area for me. Where I can relax, after work, and enjoy some peace and quiet, in a beautiful surrounding."

So we set to clearing all of the bushes right back to the boundary line, creating a much lighter and more spacious area. Flowerbeds were cut right back, and a block edge installed to create border, and frame a pathway to the shed. The beds were then sheeted with membrane and covered with decorative stone. Giving a much more eye catching appearance, as well as reducing maintenance.

The newly created patio area was then laid to a random pattern using limestone paving. With a contrast in colour for the jointing compound.

Once again the end product speaks for itself.

After being messed around, and totally let down by another firm, I was asked to correct and finish this front garden in Merstham.

Firstly the brickwork adjusted to remove all sub standard work, and then bring it up to the required height, adding additional piers, as per the customer's original wish. New pier caps and coping stones finish the top of the wall nicely. A step to the front door was then constructed in matching bricks.

The customer wanted a contrast in light and dark for the garden, to essentially highlight the pathway. So the pathway is laid with Autumn Brown Sandstone, and framed with marching Setts. The remaining area is laid with Fossil Mint Sandstone, to a random pattern.

I think you will agree that the end result is beautiful, and such a transformation. Giving the customer a low maintenance garden that has the WOW factor.

So we were tasked with refreshing this customer's whole garden in South Park.

Kandla Grey Sandstone laid to a random pattern, with a new step up to the patio doors.

During the course of the job, the customer decided it was the right time to install a new lawn as well.

I think you will agree the end result speaks for itself. Now a usable entertaining space, plus room for the kids to play.

Back to help out a previous customer. This lovely family have a Cess Pit in the middle of their lawn, and for years have struggled to find a suitable covering for it.

So we installed 2 recessed manhole covers, and gave a good 100mm covering of fresh soil. The whole area was then turfed to give a perfectly green finish.

We were tasked with renewing a Yorkstone path and entrance way for a lovely couple in Merstham.

The stone was lifted and then relaid on an new concrete base. Ensuring it will stand the test of time for many years to come.

With the lawn being lifted alongside the path as well, the entrance has been completely refreshed.

So having been tasked with the job of refreshing my customers patio area, whilst gaining more space, we came up with this stunning example.

So we extended the fence line out in front of the garage, and reduced the size of the steps. The patio was laid to a random pattern using Fossil Mint Sandstone.

Once again Danscapes Design & Build has provided another extremely happy customer with the garden they want and deserve.

Having installed a new fence for this customer last year, we were called back to revamp the whole garden.

Being keen footballers; the existing lawn was constantly boggy and unusable during the winter months, and dry and dusty during the summer, so not ideal at all. So we removed the old lawn and levelled the whole area. A treated sleeper retainer was installed at the end of the new patio, to allow for the step up onto the grass. A treated timber frame was formed, and staked as well as mucked in. The first membrane then went down under the limestone chippings. This allows for good drainage , essentially creating a soakaway. Granite dust was then screeded level with the timber frame, before fitting a second geotextile membrane. The customer opted for Premium 40 artifical grass, 2 pieces 4mx12m. After being cut in, the joint was glued using backing tape and 2 part glue. When done properly the joint is barely visible.

The tired, unlevel patio was removed. A new compacted sub-base was installed, with ACO drains along the property leading into the flowerbed. Charcoal edgings were used as a nice contrast to the slabs. Sawn and Honed Kandla Grey Sandstone was then laid to a random pattern on a full bed of muck. Pointed with Basalt Easy Joint.

I'm sure you will agree the end result speaks for itself. No matter what condition your current garden is in, there is always a way to make a dramatic improvement.

This customer in Reigate wanted to freshen up her outdoor, giving it a modern stylish look. I think you will agree that the Kandla Grey Porcelain really sets this job apart from others. Edged with a charcoal border for a nice contrast in colour. Finished with a newly laid lawn.

Got to be one of my favourite jobs so far, and the finish is outstanding.
