It’s honestly frustrating seeing some of the trees around our area being absolutely butchered lately.

No names mentioned — but if you know, you know.

Trees aren’t just something to hack back as hard as possible. Poor pruning doesn’t just look bad… it can seriously damage the health, structure and lifespan of a tree. Once it’s done, it can’t be undone.

I’m your local tree surgeon,literally just down the road. I take real pride in doing things properly: correct pruning techniques, sympathetic reductions, and work that improves both the safety and the appearance of your trees.

I took some weight out of this one, there were some heavy limbs overhanging a soon-to-be wooden cabin. To prevent any future storm damage, I carried out a fairly heavy reduction. This helps reduce the wind load on those limbs, significantly lowering the risk of breakage or damage to the tree itself.
