We cleared out a group of unwanted trees, removed the stumps, and transformed the space from rough and overgrown to smooth and ready for a fresh start. Finished it off with quality topsoil and grass seed to bring this area back to life.

We recently removed this large sycamore that had become a serious hazard. 🌳⚠️
What looked like a strong, healthy tree from the outside was hiding extensive internal decay and rot. It had already shed a huge limb from the top, and with the amount of structural failure inside the trunk, it was only a matter of time before the rest came down.

Because it stood right beside a listed gateway of historic interest, the risk of serious damage was extremely high. Taking it down was the responsible choice to protect both people and heritage.

Sad to see such an old tree go, but safety has to come first — and now the site is secure again. 🌿
