Thinking about a new kitchen? Here’s the bit nobody puts on Instagram…
A kitchen renovation can transform your home, but it’s also disruptive.
We believe in being honest about what to expect, because realistic expectations make for a better experience.
For a while, your home won’t feel quite normal.
You can expect:
👉🏼 Dust (even with protection and preparation)
👉🏼 Tradespeople coming and going
👉🏼 Deliveries during the project
👉🏼 Temporary loss of kitchen facilities
👉🏼 Noise from building and installation work
👉🏼 Occasional unforeseen issues once the old kitchen is removed
👉🏼 You should also expect plans to change.
Delays, unexpected work, and scheduling adjustments can happen on any renovation project, even with careful planning.
That’s why we’re cautious about promising exact completion dates too far in advance.
When issues arise, we communicate clearly and deal with them quickly to keep things moving.
A successful renovation isn’t one with no challenges—it’s one with honest communication, realistic expectations, and a focus on the best possible result.
Most clients tell us the temporary disruption was worth it once they saw their finished kitchen.
Because we’d rather set realistic expectations than make promises we can’t guarantee.
