About us
Lodge Plumbing & Heating Services Ltd installs and services boilers & Air conditioning across East Anglia. We’re adding a reliable labourer/Apprentice to support our engineers on domestic jobs.

What you’ll do:

Lift/carry boilers & materials, keep sites tidy, basic hand tools
Materials runs and assisting engineers on installs and servicing
Follow H&S and site instructions

You’ll need:
Right to work in the UK and good punctuality
Full UK Driving Licence
A good work ethic and willingness to learn new skills

What we offer:
Salary with holiday pay accrued and workplace pension
Overtime opportunities, training from experienced engineers, route to permanent role.

Start date: ASAP — trial shift available this week

Job Description:
We are currently hiring a Labourer to work Monday to Friday, supporting our skilled engineers in various projects. Occasional weekend work is available for those interested in additional opportunities. Responsibilities:

Assist engineers with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.

Domestic Gas Installation Engineer

Are you a Domestic Gas Engineer?

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join our team. Someone that shares the same vision as us. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of gas systems in domestic properties.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing family run business in a permanent role, they have built an outstanding reputation within the community and surrounding areas. Supplying everything from heating, plumbing, air conditioning, Boiler repairs, boiler servicing and underfloor heating.

Gas engineer criteria:

3-5 years’ Hands on experience as a Qualified Gas Engineer.
ACS (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1) or equivalent City and Guilds Level 3
Valid Gas Safe registration.
Working knowledge of all types of gas heating system as well as appliances (e.g. Open vented, sealed system and combi etc.).
Solid understanding of heating systems in domestic and commercial buildings.
Be efficient and able to overcome situations unsupervised.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
