A bespoke summerhouse recently gone out to one of our customers!

Measuring 2.5m x 2.7m with a roof extension, this one was built to the customer’s requirements and is looking right at home in the garden.

The customer was actually a bit gutted they didn’t have windows in the side elevations.

So, being the ultimate ‘customer first’ kind of company, we’re heading back in a few weeks to sort it! 👍

I’ll probably make a song and dance post about that when it happens also!!

What a monster!! 💪

This incredible 6.5m x 5.3m Langston has gone to a returning customer in Wolverhampton!

This one is being transformed into a home gym, giving the customer a huge amount of space to train without ever having to leave the comfort of their own garden.

You may notice the openings for the doors and windows haven’t been fitted yet. That’s because the customer owns a UPVC company and will be manufacturing and installing those themselves, allowing them to put their own personal stamp on the finished building.

As with all Langston buildings, this one has been built with quality, strength and longevity at the forefront. Featuring our heavy-duty construction, premium materials and EPDM rubber roof as standard, it’s a building designed to look great and perform for years to come.

Folks, it’s your old friend Miles here!

Business owner, Chairman of the Parish, friend of the community… professional pain in the backside to some! 😂

This isn’t our usual type of post, but every now and then it’s important to give credit where it’s due.

I’ve not really made it public on here because, at the end of the day, you’re all here for the sexy shed photos or to watch me take the mickey out of Nick and his Polaroid camera!

But the truth is, I’ve been a tad poorly of late.

Nothing dramatic, and if you know us then you’re probably already aware.

Thankfully, I’m on the mend and hoping to make a slow return to the helm over the next week or two.

That said, I feel I need to say a massive thank you to the people who have kept A51 moving.

Jo has been absolutely rock solid in the shop, keeping on top of sales, deliveries, stock and everything else that comes with running the place.

I know I’m biased, but our Lewis has 100% stepped up to the plate. He’s taken on a huge amount of responsibility and has kept the business running like clockwork. As a dad, I couldn’t be prouder.

Dean and Alfie have been doing their thing in the background, helping keep everything moving.

Nick has been out there flying the A51 flag, looking after customers and keeping jobs on track… whilst still insisting that Polaroid cameras are cutting-edge technology! 😂

And even old staff member Nathan (the bearded wonder) has stepped in to help when he can. That support certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed.

As a small business owner, it’s incredibly reassuring to know you’ve got such a strong team around you. A business is only ever as good as the people behind it, and I’ve been reminded of that more than ever recently.

So thank you to everyone involved — staff and customers alike. It means more than you know.

Now, if the missus ever takes the chains off, I’ll be slowly making my return. And for the first time in 23 years, I’ll probably be greeting everyone who walks through the door like long-lost family! 😂

Lovely trip down memory lane today, folks!!

Today we headed back to our ‘old house’ to change a few fence panels…

The very house where our Lewis spent his first two years.

Now I’m stood there watching this strapping 6ft-something man walking around the garden, replacing panels in the same posts that his uncle and I put in over 22 years ago… all to keep him and his sister safe back then.

Proper full circle moment.

It was lovely, I won’t lie.

I almost gave them 10% off for the nostalgia…

…but there’s no sentiment in business, is there!!

We were excited about this job from the start…

We’d had our name put forward on a local Facebook group as the customer was looking to replace their tired old fencing and wanted something a bit more stylish… something contemporary.

Now, we don’t usually jump in… we tend to sit back and watch from the shadows…

…but this one?

This was our domain 😏

And fair play to Nick… he’s absolutely delivered on this one!

Clean lines, modern finish, and a look that completely transforms the space — exactly what the customer had in mind.

The timber we’ve used is fully tanalised, meaning it’s pressure treated to protect against rot and decay… so not only does it look the part now, it’s built to last for years to come 💪

Everything they wanted… they got!

(And yes… before anyone asks… I did threaten Nick with egging his van if he didn’t get before and after photos 😂)
