So we had a property that was to be rented out and the landlady wanted it freshened up. We stripped, filled and painted the entire flat, changed all the doors, sockets, toilet, taps/wastes (throughout), all the light pendants/switches, carpet, laminate floor. The floor was fun, as the client had the flat "soundproofed" which translated into someone laying rock wool slabs under tongue and groove chipboard. Needless to say it was a bodge job and to add insult to injury some radiators had been moved and the pipework was cut into the rock wool slabs and run over the original floorboards, terrible!! So it all had to come up and the pipes ran properly under the original floorboards the right way before the new laminate could go down. We do it all, so we got to work and got it done.
One very happy landlady and a good sense of satisfaction from doing it right!
