Making a start on another old stone fireplace which had an old gas fire in it, we’ve opened it up, and next the interior will be made good with the old stones we took out, then in will go the new fire, you can see the finish next week. The news about the energy cap coming down recently has now changed to an increase, due to the volatile energy market, so gas and electric bills are set to rise, that’s why so many people are now installing multifuel and log burners in their homes. The fuel is readily available, relatively cheap, and the new burners are so efficient.
