Another turfing job completed by the team! 🌱

What we thought was going to be a straightforward job turned into a bit more of a challenge. Halfway through, we discovered a large number of bricks buried beneath the top layer of soil, and after removing two trailer loads of them, we could finally get started properly.

As always, we don’t cut corners. Every brick was removed, the ground was fully rotavated, and then we added premium topsoil before laying high-quality turf supplied by George Davis Turf.

We’ve just received these photos from our customer 2 weeks later, and just look how well the lawn has established! 😍🌱

That’s the difference quality materials and proper installation make.

Sorry if replies and quotes are taking a little longer than usual—we’re doing our best to get back to everyone as quickly as we can. Thanks for your patience!

Here’s another transformation we managed to squeeze in this weekend for a returning customer! We gave the garden a fresh new look by painting all the fencing in green and the decking in grey using paint supplied by the customer. While we were there, we also bricked up some old holes in the side of the property, spread 2 tonnes of topsoil to refresh the flower beds, and fitted two new kitchen unit doors to replace the damaged ones.

Another completed patio ✅

We had a client ring us to take a look at her patio, which had only been down for a year and a half — and what a disaster it turned out to be 😥

The original build included a sleeper retaining wall. Nothing wrong with that if it’s done properly… but unfortunately this one had only been supported with stakes tapped into mud at ground level.

We took on the job and made sure everything was done right.

✔️ Removed the old retaining wall
✔️ Installed steel RSJ beams for proper support
✔️ Fixed the sleepers securely into the steel
✔️ Backfilled and compacted with Type 1 throughout
✔️ Welded caps onto the tops of the beams for safety and a clean finish
✔️ Installed a handrail to the two steps as requested by the customer (we suggested a full-length rail, but this suited their preference)

To finish it off, we relaid 20sqm of Indian sandstone and gave the patio the finish it deserved.

Another project completed for a returning client ✔️

After our previous pool clearance work, we returned to install a 35sqm patio along with a new 1.2m-high fence around the pool to meet regulations. The new patio creates a great seating and BBQ area ready for summer.

We also completed a full site clearance, filling a 16-yard skip and removing a further 12 tonnes of hardcore. Another job finished to a high standard.

Another transformation completed!

This one had been left for quite a while, but we brought it back to life by thoroughly cleaning this large block paving driveway then finished with a sand to fill all the joints and all the copings. We then continued into the back garden, pressure washing the patio and re-grouting the entire area, leaving it fresh, clean, and ready for the summer. ☀️

Look at this job 👀🔥

We’ve finally got this pool cleared and can finally breathe again after the smell that was coming from it 🤢 This pool hadn’t been touched since 1987.

But we stepped in and made the impossible achievable for the client, giving them the chance to move forward with their next choices and plans for the area.

We’ve also had 38 tonne of hardcore taken away and 10 trailers full of wood removed from this property — the waste just never stopped coming 😅

Massive well done to the team for getting this completed 💪 This definitely isn’t work for the weak — the smell left in there for us was something else 🤢

But just look at the photos… the transformation speaks for itself 👏📸
