Heavy preparation was required on this Living/Dining area transformation due to the age of the property. This included,
- Removal of blown plaster
- Removal of softened sand & cement wall substrate
- Wallpaper stripping. Wall sanding, stabilizing, sealing, foaming, bonding, skimming, layered filling
- Removal, preparation and reattachment of picture railing where necessary
- Deep clean and prep of skirting due to pets and many years of layered gloss
- Heavy stain-blocking on ceilings and coving due to historic persistent water leaks
Ceilings and coving finished with Perfect Matt Emulsion
All other surfaces primed where appropriate and finished in Dulux Heritage Velvet Matt. All wooden surfaces treated with two coats of Polyvine Ltd Interior Matt Varnish for extended durability
