Not done much gardening this year as I broke my collarbone in May. The front garden is getting a refresh with a new path going in. Not as pretty to look at as the circular lawn was, but as we walk accross it so much it’s very practical. It will be gravelled. the circle has been cleared out as it had bindweed- will plant up next year. The lawn has been killed off with the intention of gravelling it. I’ve abandoned that idea for now so seeded it today with grass. That is all for now 👍

I suppose I should start posting some photos of the garden seeing as its nearly June. We currently have 4 echiums flowering- 1 Echium Wildpretii, 1 Echium Pininana 'Snow tower', and 2 of the more common echium pininata

Any winter job is slow for me, as I can only spare an hour or two per weekend, but this is what I've been up to this winter. Moved the greenhouse last summer in preperation. Put in some railway sleepers, dug out a larger level area and just added a sub-base last weekend. Nearly ready to put the gravel down and have a new patio
