Back at it again 🙂

Just another standard gutter clean, this time however we found a couple of slipped tiles, wherever possible we pop these back into place free of charge all is part of the service but we do have our roofing team on standby if needed.

This was an interesting job from my point of view, after 26 years in the business it's not very often that I see something new or for the first time, in this case the property (x2) that we needed to clean the gutters was a "flat pack" style home, it was actually one of the very first that was ever imported and installed in the UK back in the 70's. The house and barn are both ski chalet style with a high, steeped slope roof with the gutter system built in to the roof trims in a semi internal style, it looked very different to your run of the mill guttering here in the UK, there was even one section of about 6 meters long that was tucked up running behind a glass conservatory, this was probably the hardest part to get to and was the only bit left uncleared by the previous company that attempted to clean the gutters! I'm happy to report that we not only managed to empty and clear the entire gutter system but we managed to hit our usual high standard. Hopefully it'll be a repeat customer as I really liked this job.

This gutter clean and clear job had a few abnormal but interesting none of the less points including some hard to reach spots, a few dislodged gutter balls and even a tennis ball that had got lodged in the top of the downpipe! All cleaned out to our usual high standard, gutter balls reinstalled and tennis ball disposed of and 2 big buckets of muck gone for good.

This is the second time we've cleaned this lovely little patio for our client, since our last visit however the garden has had some wonderful new additions... a cage of egg laying chickens!!! Their proximity in relation to the patio that were here to clean doesn't concern me where the steam is concerned, we use as low pressure as possible and I can soon angle it away from anywhere near them but the softwash mix for the blackspot I couldn't be so sure about so I decided to give the post wash treat a miss on this occasion, although the clean was to restore the grip we always aim to get the best aesthetic result possible and we were very lucky as on this occasion we had a cracking result with steam alone and it doesn't always go like that!
