Goody Bag anyone? Waitrose wanted to sponsor my Short Course in Garden Design (when I wrote for their magazine) until I explained it was held round a kitchen table in a Suffolk Cottage! I think they’d imagined handying good bags out to hundreds of people. 6 is the limit! Even if my lovely group didn’t go home from the recent course with arm fulls of lipstick and caviar, I hope their heads will be buzzing with garden related hints, tips and inspiration.

Landscaping ladies, Indian style. (from a recent trip) The temperature was mid 40s. The men were doing useful things like pointing at where to mix the concrete.

Lots of self seeding plants here - the skill is knowing what is a w**d and what is not! The Cerinthe major seeds were stolen from a friends garden.
