Murals by Suzanne I am a mural artist living in Saffron Walden. I paint murals and canvases for private homes, schools and businesses. I am a mural artist in Saffron Walden.

I studied Theatre Design at university and worked for several years in theatre costume departments such as the Millenium Dome, the National Theatre, ENO, and West End productions . I started up my business back in 2003 after I painted a couple of murals for family and realised I wasn't fulfilling my artistic needs! I've painted in many private homes, schools and at the headquarters of the Magic Ci

rcle. A few years ago I took a break due to children coming along, and took up a 'proper' job as it seemed more sensible! However I have now started again and am happy to take small or large commissions, from a small canvas to four walls and a ceiling! "Suzie worked with us to produce a large mural for our library. She was excellent at interpreting our ideas and thought carefully about how to make it appeal to little children. The final design had a variety of fairy tale characters peeping out of the bookshelves. The children adore visiting the library and spotting the characters amongst the shelves. It was such a pleasure to work with Suzie. We are all so delighted with the final design – it is really stunning!

This is the mural I painted last year for Katherine Semar Junior School. A member of staff kept a video recorder in the room and has made a lovely short film of the mural being created. Do take a look if you have a few minutes. The music is very dramatic!!
