✅ Commercial Spraying ✅
A recent cladding spray project completed in Leeds — a job that really put preparation, planning, and perseverance to the test.
From the outset, attention to detail was critical. All surrounding areas were carefully masked to ensure a clean, professional finish and to protect adjacent surfaces throughout the process.
Preparation began with a full wash-down of approximately 790m² using a 2000 PSI jet wash. This stage is key to achieving proper adhesion and ensuring the longevity of the coating system. 💦
Once prepped, we applied two full coats across the entire 790m² using Dulux Cladshield, as specified for the project. This product was chosen for its durability and performance in protecting industrial cladding. 🎨
This project was delivered by a two-man team — James (myself), alongside Kaden, our apprentice — demonstrating what can be achieved with the right work ethic, coordination, and attention to detail.
The job itself came with its fair share of challenges:
• Long working days to meet deadlines ✅
• Unpredictable weather — battling through rain to stay on schedule ✅
• Continuous activity on-site, working around busy loading bays that were in constant use throughout the day ✅
Despite these obstacles, the project was delivered to a high standard, maintaining both efficiency and quality from start to finish.
