After more than two decades with MPSL, our Planning Director, Soulla, is preparing to embark on an exciting new chapter as she relocates to New Zealand in the coming month.

Soulla joined MPSL at just 16 years old and has dedicated over 20 years to the growth and progression of the practice. From her early days with the business through to becoming Planning Director, she has played an instrumental role in shaping the company, delivering projects, supporting clients and helping build the reputation MPSL enjoys today.

Her knowledge, leadership and unwavering commitment have left a lasting mark on both the business and the many people she has worked alongside throughout her career.

Whilst we're sad to see her leave the UK, we're delighted that this isn't goodbye. Soulla will continue to support MPSL in a consultancy capacity from New Zealand, allowing us to continue benefiting from her expertise as she embarks on her next adventure.

From everyone at MPSL, thank you for your dedication, hard work and contribution over the last 20+ years. We wish you and your family every success and happiness in New Zealand and look forward to continuing our working relationship from opposite sides of the world.

🏆 Fantasy Football Champion 2025/26 🏆

Whilst MPSL's projects continue to move forward, one achievement has arguably overshadowed them all this season...

A huge congratulations to our Managing Director, Dave Golden, on being crowned MPSL Fantasy Football Champion. After months of questionable transfers, last-minute captain changes and relentless WhatsApp updates, the trophy is finally heading to the top office.

Whether this success was down to football knowledge, luck, or an unhealthy amount of time spent checking team news remains up for debate.

Enjoy the glory while it lasts, Dave. The rest of us are already preparing for next season. ⚽🏅

We're pleased to see this 36-home development in Blyth, Nottinghamshire continue to progress following the acquisition of the site and submission of the full planning application.

Working alongside Albemarle Homes and the wider consultant team, MPSL has supported the design and development of a scheme that delivers a mix of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes, affordable housing provision and thoughtfully designed public open space.

Projects like this are always the result of strong collaboration, with planners, engineers, landscape architects and design teams working together to create places that respond to their surroundings whilst meeting local housing needs.

We look forward to following the scheme through the planning process and seeing the vision come to life.

Great to see Wellbeck Gardens continuing to take shape, with more homes completed and the development really starting to come together.

A lot of hard work has gone into the scheme from the wider team and it’s been great to see the progress Forge New Homes have made on site.
