Good news and bad news 🌾 🚜

After a week of long days and spectacular sunsets, harvest 2025 is complete and we now have all our barley, oats and wheat safely in the store 🙌

👍 The good news - thanks to the dry weather and our amazing team, we’ve completed it in record time, Farmer Tod says he can hardly remember an earlier finish.

👎 The bad news - yields are well down - likely thanks to the wet winter - and it’s the same story on many farms across the country.

Even so, we’re grateful for what we’ve been able to bring in. Others haven’t been so lucky.

Please remember to buy local and support your local farm shop whenever you can - every bit makes a difference 🧡
