We are pleased to announce the award of another project with Taylor Wimpey at the Cranbrook Exeter TC7B development.

The works will include a comprehensive soft landscaping package consisting of tree and shrub planting, turfing, grass seeding and associated external works, helping to create high-quality green spaces across the development.

Securing continued repeat business is a testament to the hard work of our teams, our commitment to quality, and the strong working relationships we continue to build within the housebuilding sector.

We look forward to working alongside the site team at Cranbrook and delivering another successful scheme to the high standards expected by both Taylor Wimpey and the local community.

🚧 New Contract Awarded 🚧

We’re delighted to announce that we have secured a new fencing contract with Taylor Wimpey at Sherford 3AB, Parcels 1–6 and 7–10.

This latest package of works will include the installation of:
✔️ 1800mm high close board fencing and gates
✔️ 6x3 cycle stores
✔️ Approximately 3,300 linear metres of fencing across the development

We are proud to continue building on our strong working relationship with Taylor Wimpey, having previously delivered successful projects across a number of Sherford parcels and surrounding developments.

It’s great to see our continued hard work, reliability, and quality of workmanship leading to further opportunities on such a major ongoing development. We’re looking forward to getting underway and supporting the continued progress of the Sherford site over the coming months.

Position: Part-Time Yard Worker / Delivery Driver
Location: Saltash
Days: Wednesday – Friday (3 days per week)
Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm

About the role:
This is a hands-on position where you’ll be working both independently and as part of a small team, helping to keep the yard running smoothly while also being a key point of contact for our customers.

Key responsibilities:
* Assisting customers in the yard in a friendly and professional manner
* Loading and unloading materials safely
* General yard maintenance and keeping the area tidy and organised
* Preparing orders for collection and delivery
* Carrying out local deliveries to customers
* Vehicle checks and ensuring safe transport of goods

What we’re looking for:
* Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all weather
* Reliable, punctual, and able to use initiative

🌳 Tree Work Completed – Penzance🌳

A productive few days down in Penzance completing a large tree removal and site clearance project for EBC — with all trees **felled by our team** from start to finish.

This job involved safely taking down several mature trees, processing heavy timber, and clearing out dense vegetation to fully open up the area. Each tree was carefully dismantled and felled by our crew, ensuring full control and safety throughout the operation.

Once on the ground, all timber was cut, sorted, and either stacked or processed on-site. Brash and smaller material were chipped efficiently, and the entire site was cleared of roots, debris, and loose material, leaving it clean, level, and ready for its next stage.

Big shoutout to our maintenance team for the hard work, and a special thanks to A T Sargent Ground Maintenance for the extra help — top effort all round 👏

🛠️ Machinery & equipment used:
• Professional chainsaws for felling and sectioning
• High-capacity wood chipper for brash and waste
• Skid steer loader (Bobcat) for moving and clearing heavy timber
• Stump and root removal equipment
• Hand tools for detailed finishing

A big job handled safely and efficiently, with a great result at the end 💪
