Take a look at these absolutely stunning 25mm Honed Slate Kitchen Worktops recently completed by Karrek Stone! 😍🖤

These weren't just picked from the rack – the customer wanted the darkest, smoothest honed slate possible, and that's exactly what we delivered! 💪 After carefully filtering through our stock, we were able to hand-select with the customers two beautifully matching pieces that met their exact requirements. 👌

📏 These worktops were templated by the kitchen fitter, but as always, the details matter...

✅ One worktop required scribing to a gently curved wall
✅ The second included several awkward angles that needed precise cutting
✅ Drainage grooves machined into one section
✅ Rounded polished corner for a sleek finish
✅ Top and bottom bevelled polished edges on all exposed sides

🔥🏡 CHECK OUT THIS AMAZING BESPOKE CORNER HEARTH! 🏡🔥

Take a look at this stunning custom-cut corner hearth, expertly cut to size by our in-house slate specialist and finished with the outer 3 edges polished and bevelled for that premium finish 😍👌

But this one wasn’t just about looks… 👀

The customer originally came to us with a plan that would have left only 50mm clearance in front of the stove door 😬 After chatting through their ideas, Tom gave expert advice on the fire regulations and safe clearances to make sure everything was done correctly and safely 🔥✅

By reworking the design, we managed to:
✔️ Keep the clearance they wanted around the door 🚪
✔️ Ensure the hearth complied with regulations 📏🔥
✔️ Use a slightly smaller slab of slate 💰
