Not using your old bedroom fireplace and fed up of the awkward recess and uneven wall? This week in Elworth we’ve framed and boarded an old fireplace opening, ready for a vent to be drilled and fitted once the plaster has fully dried.

We set new corner beads, used our magic mix to reskim the chimney breast and blended in a few surrounding patches, leaving a smooth, flat wall that will decorate beautifully and make the room much easier to lay out. 👌

If you’ve got an unused fireplace getting in the way of wardrobes, beds or TV units, we can turn it into a clean, modern wall instead.

Still living with Artex and wavy walls in the room you’re supposed to relax in? This bedroom in Mow Cop started exactly like that – dated ceiling, uneven surfaces and hard-to-decorate walls.

We fully re-plastered the room to create a flatter ceiling and walls, with sharper angles and a much calmer feel. The best bit is seeing the customer’s photo now it’s decorated and furnished – the plaster is doing its job quietly in the background, making everything else look better.
