JOB VACANCY' Full Time Fixed Term Contract . 40 hours per week. Mon - Friday
ARGYLL GROUNDCARE are looking for a Ground Maintenance Operative with experience in this field to join our team in a fast paced and varied role within a long established company starting with immediate effect.
This is a physically intensive job working on various large commercial properties and estates throughout the cowal areaand the ideal candidate will be self motivated, reliable, hard working and able to work as a team player but also happy to work on his/her own initiiative. We are looking for someone with a great work ethic working with integrity and pride ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest requirement and that a quality service is provided.
Role of a Grounds Maintenance Operative includes:
· Grass cutting
· Litter picking
· Hedge cutting
· Shrub maintenance
· Leaf clearing
· Pathway gritting and minor snow clearance
· Communication with clients and customers
· Experience using commercial ride on mowers, ped mowers, small machinery, hedge cutters, strimmers and blowers
· Understand and ensure compliance with standards set out in the Company quality system e.g., point of work and site-specific risk assessments
· Adhere to company standards such as risk assessments and COSHH
· Timely and accurate reporting of near misses, accidents, and incidents
· Responsibility for keeping machinery and equipment in good working condition and expediting rectification of faults etc as per Company process, as well as processing logs in relation to mileage and fuel
· Undertake all grounds maintenance works to specification achieving the highest standards at all times

Skills we’re looking for in you:
· Must be willing to undertake DBS/background clearance checks where applicable
· Familiar and comfortable with working in a physically demanding role in sometimes severe weather conditions
· Good knowledge of grounds maintenance activities is desirable - but not essential initially
· Good working knowledge of Health & Safety
·A Clean Full Valid driving licence is essential

Job Description - The duties of the candidate will include grass cutting with machinery such as strimmers, lawnmowers and ride on mowers. Hedge/shrub pruning, site clearances and gritting in the winter.

JOB VACANCY

Argyll Groundcare are looking to hire a new member to the team starting with immediate effect. No previous experience is required, but would be appreciated. This is a physically intensive job and candidates would need to be able to meet the demands of the roll. Driver's license is prefered but not a requirement

Monday - Friday 8am-4pm

Argyll Groundcare is looking to employ a hardworking,reliable individual starting immediately until end of October 2019, with the possibly of extending through the winter period, for commercial ground maintenance contracts.
Basic knowledge of using strimmers, hedge trimmers, ride on mowers and other power tools used in the trade would be preferable.
Driving licence would also be helpful but not essential..

JOB VACANCY
Argyll Groundcare is looking to employ a hardworking,reliable individual starting the beginning of April till end of October 2017 for commercial ground maintenance contracts.
Basic knowledge of using strimmers, hedge trimmers, ride on mowers and other power tools used in the trade would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given,
Driving licence would also be helpful but not essential.
Unfortunately no holidays can be taken between these months.
