With this in mind we thought it would be nice to share some cool physical activities for you to do at home with your children

Simple obstacle courses help children to learn action words and phrases as well as motor skills. Try building an obstacle course with your child out of safe household items.

Splashing into some sensory fun today! ☀️

Our little learners had an absolute blast exploring the paddling pools, practice-pouring with watering cans, and mixing things up with whisks and spoons. Sensory water play like this is amazing for developing those fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and most importantly, bringing out the biggest smiles! 🌊

Buzzing into World Bee Day! 🐝

Today, our little busy bees have been celebrating World Bee Day through some seriously fun sensory play!

Activities we have done:
* Black and yellow sorting pasta ⚫🟡
* Painting our own bumble bees 🎨
* Scooping and pouring black and yellow rice 🫗
* Find the bees in the paper grass 🍃

Looking for some fresh Tuff tray inspiration 🌟 Turning simple materials into big learning moments!

🏎️ Pre-Writing: Using cars to follow tracks builds the hand-eye coordination needed for future handwriting.

🕷️ Sensory Literacy: A "Bug Hunt" in the sand makes letter recognition an adventurous scavenger hunt.

💦 Water Math: "Rescuing" numbered stones makes counting tactile, splashy, and fun!

🏗️ STEM & Vocab: Mixing "cement" and blocks helps kids connect words like rough and smooth to real textures.

🐄 Creative Counting: Stamping animal tracks is a great way to practice one-to-one correspondence through art.

The Inventors have had a lovely time keeping active this week!🤸🏻‍♂️

Today we took a walk to the park and practiced our climbing skills.
We climbed🧗🏻‍♂️, crawled, walked🚶🏻and rolled. We used our problem solving skills 🧩to figure out how to get through small gaps and over logs🪵 .

We have also been building up our gross motor skills by holding onto the rope net 🪢and hanging upside down.

Yesterday, in adventures we have celebrated earth day! 🌍

We looked at pictures of earth and talked about how it’s made up of (green) land and (blue) sea🌊. When I asked at the end where do we live? they answered “earth”. We had so much fun creating our own planet earth with different material and some messy hand paintings. Well done adventures! 🌟
