Before and after photos of this terrace garden I designed back in the summer in Turkey

The colour scheme was inspired by a garden I visited at RHS Hamptoton Garden Show in 2022. It was a dry/ gravel garden with many sun loving plants , and colour injected with blue and orange walls.

This is quite a hot and windy terrace. And the planting is working progress. The conditions are so hot trying to find plants that will survive in those conditions in pots is a challenge. But for now, I sit back and enjoy the first steps

This was one of my Chelsea Flower Show buys this year. This winning short-red sunflower variety was only introduced this year at Chelsea. I sow the seeds about 6 days ago and the have already germinated. I will be putting them in a soyth facing border once they are about 10-15cm tall. The pack comes with 12 seeds and it was sold for ÂŖ3 at Chelsea. I can't wait to see the flowers and having more seeds for next year.
